Also I found my flashlight. These things are related.

Poked around all the wires and HVAC nonsense behind my glovebox and there is my missing metal flashlight sitting on a metal brace. No rattles on my trip across town and back to get lunch.

I had a rattle last week. Turns out it was a glass juice bottle clinking against a seat rail.

My PT had a rattle I couldn’t figure out until I took the front bumper cover off and a wrench fell out.

I had a mysterious leak show up one time. A dark, almost oil-like fluid began to pool under the rear of the car. Didn’t look like diff fluid, and I couldn’t tell where in the world it was coming from.

Turns out the spare engine oil carton under the trunk carpet had busted open.

My mom has a lexus rx300 and every time she hits a bump it sounds like the strut is going to fall off. I’ve checked the strut and it seems to be fine. Drives me nuts that I cannot find out where it’s coming from.
